HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Hi, I’m Becky Baglione, founder of Squeaky Clean Services LLC. I started this company with a dream and a mop in hand—but the vision was always bigger than cleaning floors. It began while I was earning my bachelor’s degree in business from SUNY Cobleskill. I worked as a cleaner throughout college, and I quickly realized how powerful this “simple” work could be. Cleaning might seem insignificant on the surface, but the transformation it brings to a space—and the emotional relief it gives clients—made it deeply meaningful for me.


Over time, I saw just how impactful a clean home could be. Clients would walk into their refreshed spaces with tears in their eyes, overwhelmed with gratitude. I knew I wanted to offer more than just a cleaning service—I wanted to create an experience. Something that felt like a spa day for your home: the calming scent of essential oils, soft touches like rose petals, and a level of care that speaks louder than words. That’s the heart of Squeaky Clean.


But building a brand with this kind of attention to detail doesn’t happen overnight. I worked tirelessly—not only physically, but mentally—refining our brand, training process, and customer service philosophy. The work took a toll on my body, but I didn’t want to give up on the dream. I had a vision of building a team—a family, really—of gifted individuals who believed in what we do. I’d experienced bad leadership in past jobs and promised myself that, one day, I’d lead with empathy, respect, and purpose.


It took nearly a year to find the right team, but now I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ve developed detailed training guides to ensure every team member truly understands our vision. I call them “the butterflies” because I’ve watched these amazing women evolve and grow into their own. Every Monday, we start our week by pulling a “positive fortune” from a jar—just a small ritual to bring a spark of energy into everything we do.


Finding clients in the early days was a journey in itself. While many of our wonderful clients came through referrals—and I’m so grateful for the kind words people have shared—some of the most magical connections happened the old-fashioned way: going door to door. I’d walk neighborhoods with my flyers, introducing myself and sharing what Squeaky Clean had to offer. Time and time again, I’d hear people say, “I was just talking about needing a cleaner—and here you are!” It started to feel like fate was on my side, opening the right doors (literally and figuratively) at just the right time. Those face-to-face conversations reminded me how powerful personal connection can be, and they helped shape the heart of this company.


Thank you for taking the time to learn about the heart behind Squeaky Clean Services. What started as a one-woman operation with a dream and a duster has grown into a passionate team that truly cares about the homes—and the people—we serve. From going door to door, to watching clients smile (and sometimes cry) at the results, this journey has been filled with purpose and so much gratitude.
